We are pleased to announce that the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) is offering support to Early Career Researchers (ECRs) who are interested in showcasing their research and attending the the upcoming British Society for Research on Ageing (BSRA) Annual Scientific Meeting being held at the University of Birmingham from the 4-6th Sept 2024. BBSRC would like to invite ECRs to submit abstracts that meet the theme of “AI and Ageing” . The best abstracts will be invited to present their research in a themed session and BBSRC will support attendance by providing travel and accommodation grants.
This session promises to be an exciting opportunity to explore the latest advancements in the application of artificial intelligence to ageing research. It will feature leading experts in the field including; Alex Zhavoronksov (CEO Insilico Medicine) and Prof Pedro Joao Magalhaes (Chair of Biogerontology) providing valuable insight into how AI can be leveraged to enhance our understanding of the ageing process and improve health with advancing age.
If you are an ECR wishing apply for this funding, please submit an abstract at BSRA Annual Scientific Meeting 2024 – BSRA and then email ASM@BSRA.org.uk your name and abstract title for more details on how to avail this support.
We look forward to your participation in what promises to be a highly inspiring conference.
