Lord Cohen of Birkenhead Medal

The Lord Cohen of Birkenhead Medal is the BSRA’s highest award honouring individuals who “have made a considerable contribution to ageing research, either through original discoveries or in the promotion of the subject of gerontology in its broadest aspect“. It is named after British physician Henry Cohen, Lord of Birkenhead, who significantly advanced both medical research and applications of this research to advance healthspan in the United Kingdom.
