Wednesday, 9th September from 6pm-8pm
Keble College, University of Oxford
This year, to celebrate the BSRA’s landmark 75th Annual Scientific Meeting, Professor David Weinkove, Chair of the BSRA Board of Trustees, will host a special Chair’s Reception.
The reception is an opportunity to recognise and thank those who support and engage with the BSRA’s work advancing ageing research and improving public health. Attendees will include leading researchers, funders and policy voices from the across the UK and internationally.
All 2026 sponsors, speakers and delegates are automatically invited to attend the reception, but are asked to confirm their attendance when registering to assist with planning and catering.
There are fifty tickets set aside for members of the public who are invited to attend after this year’s public lecture, given by Dr Valter Longo from University of Southern California.
If you have received an invitation to the Reception, and are not attending the ASM in any other capacity, we ask that you RSVP as soon as possible to reserve your place, as these are limited. Please refer to your invitation for details.
Any questions can be sent to BSRA CEO, Sally Bird: sally.bird@bsra.org.uk
Parking: There is very limited on-street parking in Saint Giles and in the streets around Keble. You are advised to use a park-and-ride, as the buses into town from all the park-and-rides are free. From Oxford Parkway (Station and P&R) the 2,2A, 600 and 800 all stop on Banbury Road at the Keble Road junction, take about 15 minutes and are very frequent.
