Help BSRA Shape Parliamentary Discussions

There are two POSTnotes open for contributions that may be relevant to BSRA members. The closing dates are 23rd May and 4th June.

POST — the Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology — is a UK parliamentary body that provides independent, balanced, and accessible analysis of public policy issues related to science and technology. It operates as part of the UK Parliament and supports both the House of Commons and the House of Lords. POST frequently puts out calls for contributions of evidence to support POSTnotes, or summaries of current scientific topics relevant to UK policy.

Please mention your BSRA membership if you do contribute to one of these notes. Advocacy is one of the five pillars of the BSRA vision, and we are actively working to raise the profile of the ageing research community as we push for increased funding in the field. You can find out more about the other pillars of our vision on our website: https://bsra.org.uk/purpose/

As a member of the BSRA, we value your engagement and welcome any ideas about how we can pursue these objectives. We are also always looking for committed members who could contribute to the BSRA’s work, so do reach out if you would like to get involved.
